The mission of Global Sufficiency Network is to spread the message and practice of Sufficiency for the creation of an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling and socially just human presence on the planet.

Our promise is that Global Sufficiency Network provide information, inspiration, tools, resources, and connections needed to practice and spread sufficiency across the globe.

In fulfillment of this mission we have developed structures that enable individuals, groups and organizations to offer resources for free and for purchase on the Global Sufficiency Network Website.

These are the three options available for sharing resources:

Affiliate Structures

1. Affiliate

The payment of the sale generated on the Global Sufficiency Network site goes to the person or entity with the product or service and then the person or entity pays Global Sufficiency Network a predetermined percentage of the sale. The percentage is determined by the person or entity upon release of the product or service.

For Example:

• Global Sufficiency Network promotes books and Amazon.com pays a commission
• Global Sufficiency Network promotes a product, resource, seminar, etc. and the person who provides the product or resource pays Global Sufficiency Network a commission
• Commission is determined by the person or entity who is selling the product or resource.
• Common commission is 5%-10% for books or physical products, or 35% - 50% for downloadable products or seminars.

2. Joint Venture Partner

The payment of the sale generated on the Global Sufficiency Network site goes to Global Sufficiency Network and the Joint Venture Partner who promoted the product or service is then paid a predetermined percentage of the sale by the Global Sufficiency Network. The percentage is determined during the formation of the partnership.

For Example:

• The Joint Venture Partner advertises the Global Sufficiency Network or products as a resource on their website. When someone purchases a product because of the Joint Venture Partner, Global Sufficiency Network pays them a commission or percentage of the product price.
• The commission would be a one-time commission for the sale of a product
• Common commission is 50% for a downloadable product, or 10% – 25% of a physical product

3. Advertiser

The person or entity pays Global Sufficiency Network a fixed price determined by Global Sufficiency Network for an advertisement on the site for the person or entity’s resource, product or service. The amount and type of advertising would be defined at an earlier date.

For Example:

• Advertiser pays Global Sufficiency Network a fixed fee to to advertise or list a product on the website is $100 per month for non-members and $50 a month for members,
• The Advertiser provides the banner or text to be placed on the website
• Global Sufficiency Network webmaster places the ad on the website
• Advertiser lists Free Resources or website link for the cost of membership
